Here are the differences between Direct Data and SME Data powered by MTN Nigeria.
One is coded via 131 while the other is 461.
Direct Data usually has Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual validity.
Before August 26th, 2019 SME had a validity of 90 days. Nigerians embraced it. Large sales for the SME Data department of MTN.
However, SME Data is now 30 days, and the MTN SME Data plans are cheaper. SME has no daily data plan and weekly data bundles.
The MTN direct data has a Pay As You Go data bundle and daily, weekly, and monthly data plans. The Direct Data is easier to subscribe to as they have higher monthly data packages up to 1TB.
It is assumed that SME DATA exhausts faster than DIRECT DATA. We can categorically say SME DATA browses faster than DIRECT DATA.
It is just common sense, if SME DATA browses faster then it should have a faster consumption than the direct data.
